II’m Heloise Kirby — a writer, artist, songwriter, teacher, and explorer of the human experience.
I live in Herefordshire, UK, where I balance creativity with teaching digital skills and assistive technology. My life and work are guided by curiosity, reflection, and my Buddhist practice in the Triratna tradition — which offers me a framework to explore how to live more gently.
Creativity runs through everything I do.
- Writing & Reflection — I curate Thoughtknots and Pebbles & Pearls, collections of essays and poems exploring story, identity, and presence.
- Hearth — a living framework of rituals, cards, and reflective practices designed to support coherence, nourishment, and growth.
- Art & Photography — paintings, photography, and visual projects that root me back into nature and play.
- Songwriting — my first love and a continuing practice. I trained with The Songwriting Academy (Platinum Diploma 2022) and have collaborated with musicians worldwide, including the Jump Room collective. Music still grounds me in joy, collaboration, and the healing power of song.
- Teaching — as a digital skills tutor for visually impaired young adults, I share both technical skills and creative approaches to learning.
I believe in the value of fun, playfulness, and curiosity. I believe in reframing difficult experiences into something meaningful. And I believe in weaving together many threads — words, images, sounds, rituals — into a creative life that is both authentic and alive.
This site is my creative hub. It’s where my projects meet. You’re welcome to explore, wander, and discover what resonates.
